Jeju Island

My best friend from Yale decided to come visit me in Seoul for a week, so we decided to hatch a trip to Jeju island for a couple of days. Even though my family has already been in Jeju couple of times, I have never been there, so I was pretty excited. Jeju's a typical destination spot for newly-weds, so you can say that I was on a honeymoon trip with my best friend.

Cool spots include beach with sand made out of pieces of corals, so I had this weirdly pleasant crunchy feeling when I stepped on the beach. Apparently, you're not allowed to take anything from this beach. But some of the seashells got stuck on my legs, and I ended bringing some back to Seoul. I hope that doesn't make me a smuggler.

Another cool place was the miniature theme park, where you can see architectures from all over the world. I have decided to include Mount Rushmore imitation (although not that realistic in my opinion) because I thought it was funny, but I promise other ones were stunning. There were huge life-size Buddha, Eiffel Tower, U.S. Congress, Krn broadcasting station, Tower Bridge in London, etc.

For kicker, I want to share with you some pics that made me laugh my head-off.
Who would have expected this in an Asian country...........
